Next on the Reading List

Tired of those "my precious kids/husband/dog/job/friends" mommy blogs? Then you may enjoy this raunchy sort-of-memoir. Over at Reject the Koolaid I heard about the new book: Mommies Who Drink
Definitely a must on the LDSM reading list.

(Am I gonna get some screwed up Google ads on this post, or what?)

Don't Urinate at NC State

From the Asheville Citizen-Times:

The student sections at college football games are usually a little unruly, but student leaders at North Carolina State University just want the urinating to stop.

"They didn't want to leave the section to go to the bathroom," said student body president Will Quick. Complaints about urinating and vomiting in the stands soon followed.

Still #1

...for "cats wearing food" on Google. Actually still the ONLY one. That's pretty hard to believe. Don't other people's cats have food items stuck on them from time to time? Or is it just me? Heck...they weren't even MY cats I blogged about!

I may just have to start sticking food on my cats and taking pictures. I sense a trend.

Newsflash: Blatter Gets a Clue

Maybe the only smart idea he's ever come up with...

Fifa president Sepp Blatter says future World Cup finals should not be decided by penalty shoot-outs.

As my twelve year old would say...duuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhh.

I Though Only My Kids Did This...

...but over at Reject the Koolaid, they have a name for it: September-itis.

"It's the same every September. After two months out of school, the four children are reduced to drooling dumbarses on every front. They are about as incapable of organizing themselves as I am of understanding why Paris Hilton is a celebrity."

Soccer Moms Can Be Divas, too...

So I guess I can blame the "Mommy Divas" because my shampoo costs more these days?

I've been using Suave way before it was "cool" (or "hot"). How funny.

Another Hat Trick

It never gets old to see your kid's name in the paper :)
