CHHS scores early at East Chapel Hill to maintain its place in PAC-6 soccer

CHAPEL HILL -- Tommy Drake had to leave Friday's party early, but he left his calling cards: a goal and his shoes.
Sent off from the Wildcat Stadium pitch after two yellow cards barely five minutes apart, Drake left his iridescent lime green shoes sitting in front of the Chapel Hill bench. In his absence, they bespoke his irritation at being carded, twice, for "conduct degrading the game," and they seemed to be a silent reminder that his goal would stand up.
