"We're feeling pretty good about where we are," CHHS head coach Ron Benson said. "If we stay healthy, we should make the state tournament in good shape, and we could work out a good little run once we get there."
Ranked No. 14 in the N.C. coaches' poll, Chapel Hill has lost only to teams within the state's top five -- then-No. 1 Apex, No. 4 Sanderson and No. 2 Broughton.
